Thank you for the kind link, as always, but it falls upon me to clarify that neither we would be aptly placed in the "right," as that is a deficient way to portray traditionalism. We are traditional Catholics, that's all. Some of our positions could be understood as being on the "left", others on the "right", others on the "center", but that understanding would be mistaken.

Marco Tosatti, on the other hand,is not a traditionalist at all, just a fine journalist.

As Ross Perot would say, " It's as simple as pie". Research the Newark case where the mansion is far from Newark's poor. Why is that relevant? Vatican II below is being ignored in the Newark case bu both Bishops ( one was sent to watch the other one on sex abuse leniencies).

DECREE ON THE MINISTRY AND LIFE OF PRIESTS
PRESBYTERORUM ORDINIS
PROMULGATED BY HIS HOLINESS,
POPE PAUL VI
ON DECEMBER 7, 1965
" Led by the Spirit of the Lord, who anointed the Savior and sent him to evangelize the poor,(53) priests, therefore, and also bishops, should avoid everything which in any way could turn the poor away. Before the other followers of Christ, let priests set aside every appearance of vanity in their possessions. Let them arrange their homes so that they might not appear unapproachable to anyone, lest anyone, even the most humble, fear to visit them."

Perchance you reject a pastoral Council. Then look at the Newar double mansion complex and then read Isaiah 5:8 from God:
" Woe to you who add house to house and join field to field till no space is left and you live alone in the land."

You can't make this stuff up.

Thanks for the reference, Bill.

Bill Bannon, Paul VI also vitiated the Mass, so I wonder why you invoke him as you do.

NC, if you object the the characterization of Rorate C as being "on the Right," I guess I would say, quite honestly, do you think you are closer the "Right," or the "Left"? Let's be real. That is not to disagree that the current crisis cannot be adequately addressed by such categories, but still.

JM,
I'm not a Latin Mass person and the document is from Vatican II.
